The Pacific Shamrock journey began when my wife and I bought a new GE refrigerator a few years back. We spent 3 hours combing the floors of Best Buy and Home Depot looking for a new refrigerator. We finally chose one and got it all set up. But a day later when it started making ice, my wife noticed the crazy shooting ice problem from our ice dispenser. She told me the refrigerator is going back!! All I could think about was another 3 hours at Best Buy finding the next alternative. And hence the inspiration for my first product the Ice Chute Adapter for my GE refrigerator. I was already a 3D printing hobbyist and engineer by education, so I started to see if I could design something to solve the problem and 3D print it, AND hopefully be able to keep our refrigerator! Well, my idea worked and my wife said the refrigerator can stay! Since then, I have had many people come to me to ask if I could make something for their brand/model of refrigerator because they had the exact same problem. From there, I expanded into also offering the exact fit drip trays. The Pacific Shamrock products are now sold on Etsy, Amazon, and the Pacific Shamrock website. My tag message is “Love your fridge again” which makes me very happy when I get the reviews and feedback from customers that tell me just that after solving their issues. The company name of Pacific Shamrock was inspired by my Irish heritage, and the 3 leaves of the clover represent my three children who inspire me every day. The “Pacific” element is where I reside with my wife and three kids on the coast of Southern California.
